I APPRECIATE YOU…

…For who you are for me.

…For who you are for others.

…For what you bring to everything you do.

…For the way you do what you do.

…For the way you make people feel about themselves.

…For the way you make people feel about the future.

…For ____________________.

Of course, thank people for what they do. However, if you want to leave people feeling truly appreciated, the key is to go beyond their deeds and focus on who they are and what they uniquely provide.

Appreciation delivered well lets someone know, “I know who you are; and who you are matters.”

Yes, leading can actually be that simple!

So look for opportunities this week to use those 3 incredibly powerful words and witness the difference they make.

I’d also love to hear your stories of being appreciated: Is there a particular act of appreciation that stands out for you?
